H.P. Lovecraft


Howard Phillips Lovecraft was born in Providence, United States on August 20, 1980, was an American author of novels and tales of horror and science fiction. He is considered a great innovator of the scary story, which brought its own mythology which was "the Cthulhu Mythos." Lovecraft also cultivated poetry, essay and epistolary literature.

Lovecraft's stories constituted a classic materialist cosmic terror, a current that departs from the traditional supernatural horror themes such as Satanism and ghosts, among others, incorporating elements of science fiction and alien races, time travel, existence of other dimensions. Lovecraft also cultivated poetry, essay and epistolary literature is a literary activity that involves writing letters. Generally considered of general interest, and therefore publishable letters that the author deems appropriate post or without fulfilling this condition, however serve to better understand the life and works of an artist or an event or historical period .
