H.P. Lovecraft

Howard Phillips Lovecraft was born in Providence, United States on August 20, 1980, was an American author of novels and tales of horror and science fiction. He is considered a great innovator of the scary story, which brought its own mythology which was "the Cthulhu Mythos." Lovecraft also cultivated poetry, essay and epistolary literature.

Lovecraft's stories constituted a classic materialist cosmic terror, a current that departs from the traditional supernatural horror themes such as Satanism and ghosts, among others, incorporating elements of science fiction and alien races, time travel, existence of other dimensions.
