NightWish

Nightwish is a symphonic metal band from Kitee, Finland, known for its strong and melodic guitar riffs, organ and synth atmospheres, powerful battery and clear bass sound.

Note that are recognized as having provided a wide range of qualities of power metal taking it to a very powerful yet combining symphonic metal genre, some touches of folk metal, thrash metal and some heavy metal traces of these being the that place to discuss the etymology of its music.

Nightwish, born in the head of Tuomas Holopainen in the summer of 1996 during a camp out. Then he calls his friends Tarja Turunen (then a freshman soprano-Akatemia Sibelius in Helsinki) and Emppu Vuorinen, later the band would Jukka Nevalainen which was recommended by Emppu.

The current band members are: Marco Hietala, Emppu Vuorinen, Tuomas Holopainen, Jukka Nevalainen. The first vocalist was Tarja Turunen but was changed by Anette Olzon in 2007, but in 2012 he withdrew from Nightwish, currently without vocals and sing invited artists as Floor Jansen.
